Leading With Love
For Healthy Self-Esteem And Responsible Self-Direction You don't just want to raise a child to blindly do what he is told. You want to raise the child to be able to direct his own life well, even when there is no one there to tell him what to do, and when there is someone telling him to do what may not be in his interest.
Self-esteem is the root of positive and negative behavior. The child or adult who produces poor results in any area of life performs poorly, and does so based on a conscious or unconscious belief in his or her own unworthiness. Learn how to release yourself and to release children from the hurtful burden of a lack of self-esteem. Relate with children of all ages, from infants to teens, as in a way that supports healthy self-esteem that leads the child to make positive, healthy choices. Reacting with much anger and stress to a child's challenging behavior leads the child to make self-punishing choices, and that pattern can last a life-time; Learn how to consciously support the child's healthy self-esteem for the child's healthy, and happy responsible self-direction.
