Shedding Inner Darkness, Shedding Inner Light By Bob Lancer The pattern of the wave describes the pattern of your life. Believing that you should always succeed in your efforts aimed at ascension brings you down all the harder. When you understand how to go through the ups and downs, the opening of opportunity's door and its closing in your face, the winning and losing, the miracle and disaster, the triumph and defeat you fulfill an important purpose during both, and you turn your wave into a spiral. Then, you continue to have your ups and downs, but both sides of the cycle rise altogether. If you knew how to be poor, you would be all the more richer by now. To be poor, to find yourself at the bottom, to face the empty abyss provides you with the opportunity to shed your inner darkness. The dismal visions of a failure float before your mind's eye, but if you do not latch onto them, but rather see them for what they are, dark illusions, depressing speculations, frightening fantasies, you shed them. They pass away. Then your intrinsic, liberating light shines freely, even in the darkest pit. If you knew how to be rich you would be even richer by now. To be rich is to see your blessings in their overwhelming flow of abundance. It is to experience the mighty energy-river of confidence surging through you. The temptation then is to idealize your situation, to conceive of the brightest possibilities as believable. Allow yourself to bask in the golden light of these joyous visions, but again, without attachment. You bring about what you think about, so think about where your inspiration takes you. Envision the life of overflowing joyous love, freedom and fulfillment. In both the bright cycle and the dark, remain aware of your thoughts and of the feeling of the flow of energy flowing through you. When you notice a thought that brings you down, dams your energy, sinks you into melancholy, anxiety or frustration, let that thought go. When you observe yourself seizing up on your energy flow, blocking it, resisting it, forcing it in an effort to over-control it, release that. Your energy will build to higher levels – in other words, your power will build. As your power increases, you can envision, with confidence, grander and grander possibilities. This is how God speaks to you about your magnificent calling. This is how you create ever grander conditions in your life, connect with more powerful people, experience growing and intensified inspiration, intention, joy, love, peace and faith. This is how you see with increasing depth and clarity into the nature of reality so you can better align yourself with it. Resisting your low cycles turns the darkness against you. Instead of shedding darkness, you assemble more of it into your attitude and expectations. When your cycle shifts into upward access, you then feel more prone to resist that as well, fearing the loss of control. At the same time, your previous delusions of failure and inferiority now turn into delusions of grandeur and superiority, which only serves to set you up for a steeper, deeper fall. Trusting your building energy, freeing yourself from demoralizing thought, utilizing the power of positive thinking to design your ideal destiny, sets you free.
